My name is Walter. I was born in Den Haag, the Netherlands on january 25th in 1973.

I discovered the nl wikipedia in oktober 2003 and am a moderator on that project since may 20th 2004. In august of 2004 I also became a moderator at the Thai wikipedia.

I have been living in Bangkok Thailand since May 5th 1999 (my personal liberation day). In the Netherlands I used to life in a small village called Benthuizen in Rijnwoude.

Because of my father's work for KPN Telecom I have also lived in Paramaribo Suriname from 1985 till 1989
