Hi, I'm Joe D, a.k.a. Steinsky, originally from Dorset, England but now doing a genetics degree at the University of the West of England in Bristol.

First found Wikipedia: July 15 2003 (Because of a link to Saint Swithun's day), first edited articles on July 16 (probably), and was addicted immediately (though I can give up anytime.. perhaps).

Since September 2003 I've been running the EvoWiki, a collaborative Evolution/Biology/Paleontology/Anthropology/Anti-creationism site running on MediaWiki.
