I'm a 28-year old resident of eastern Canada, having lived in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and know these provinces and many of their communities and sub-regions fairly intimately. I also travel extensively in neighbouring Newfoundland and Labrador and New England. Gotta love the ocean...

On Wik, I'm primarily interested in history, geography, and engineering articles, with some attention paid to conservation and environment issues, transportation, and the Canadian military.

I only tripped onto Wikipedia in the spring of 2004 and have attempted to make edits whenever I have a free moment and a topic I like or know something about. I'm still finding out about the funny and sometimes frustrating little quirks of the Wik community. Luckily the UI is pretty easy to handle and I've been redirected in my editing eagerness on better ways to contribute (ie. move, preview, etc.)... Thanks guys!

Plasma East was the name of an extremely obscure and now defunct punk band from Halifax, Nova Scotia - I first heard the name from a co-worker who was related to a band-member and thought it was kinda cool.
