Other notes
I started reading Wikipedia sometime in 2003, and made an account on August 20 2004. I am currently trying to scale back my Wikipedia habit somewhat, but I will probably continue to edit occasionally as long as this site is here and I'm online.
I pronounce my name like the word leaf. I note this here because some people in the U.S. pronounce it more like layf, while in Danmark the pronunciation is approximately life.
| Multi-licensed into the public domain | ||
| I agree to multi-license my eligible text contributions, unless otherwise stated, under the GFDL and into the public domain. Please be aware that other contributors might not do the same, so if you want to use my contributions in the public domain, please check the multi-licensing guide. | ||
My contributions to Wikipedia's article namespace may be considered public domain; that is, I explicitly don't reserve the rights that the letter © would otherwise legally grant me. The GFDL and other free licenses are good in spirit, but unfortunately they often still encumber things too much. For instance, Wikitravel can only reuse Wikipedia content that is multi-licensed under "CC-BY-SA". Other projects have other requirements. By licensing all of one's article edits into the public domain, releasing all rights to them, one can ensure that their edit to an article will never render the new version incompatible with some future use. I encourage other users to consider publishing into the public domain also. "Conclusion? C is for cookie, thats good enough for me"
