About my nickname
The original idea was "homo sapiens" with a Mediterranean flavor. Only belatedly I have discovered that humus is different from the intended hummus. I am not a native speaker but I love learning.
My policies
- Presumption of innocence.
- In a court of law, intentional violence is distinguished from unintentional. The same principle should apply in an encyclopedia.
- A distinction should be made between innocents targeted on purpose (e.g. bombing a civilian bus or a restaurant) vs. human shields vs. bystanders harmed unintentionally in a police/army operation aimed to prevent further atrocities.
- Similarly, a distinction should be made between militants and those who assist them vs. non-combatants.
