Wikipedia Milestones
- 1000th contribution: Finally! I've reached my 1000th contribution (although my actual amount of contributions is fairly higher, since when I flag pages as candidates for speedy deletion, the pages are deleted, and the record of it in my contributions is gone). I have a feeling I will be reaching my next major milestone on Wikipedia before I know it, and the goal I have set for myself to reach by my 1,500th edit is improved community involvement. I currently do my fair share as an individual on Wikipedia, but I am not as involved in community affairs as I would like to be (e.g. committees).
- I'm extremely glad I found Wikipedia, and it's an invaluable resource for helping me learn more, while also contributing to this worldwide pool of knowledge. It really breaks my heart when I hear some people say that Wikipedia is 'not trustworthy,' especially after I have been patrolling the recent changes page for hours. They simply cannot grasp the concept of humans working together collaboratively, which is very disheartening to see.
- I started out on Wikipedia making a few minor changes to articles where I saw fit. When I started out, I have to say I was slightly intimidated, but more incredulous, of the idea of a collaborative encyclopedia. My first article was a stub, and my second one was listed on VfD (as well it should have- it was rife with POV content). Through the months, I've had the joy of seeing Wikipedia's content grow along with my maturity as an editor, as I went from about 3 edits every day I was on Wikipedia (which was far from daily), to 20-50 edits per day (daily). I've found the experience wonderful, enlightening, and joyful- and I'm sure others feel the exact same way about Wikipedia.
- Through my time at Wikipedia, I've been fortunate enough to come across extremely kind and helpful Wikipedians, who sometimes helped me to guide my way through Wikipedia (if it weren't for Evercat, I might still be making duplicate articles!). With the exception of most vandals and trolls, everybody here has been so wonderful- and I'm confident that it will stay that way.
- Thank-you very much for taking the time to read this (slightly long-winded) passage. I realize that I've gone on for quite a bit, but I feel extremely jubilant about making my 1000th contribution to Wikipedia, as this is a clear milestone for me. When my Neopets account got frozen (unfairly: I'm still waiting for their response after about 3 months), Wikipedia soon took over my life for the better. Not only have I learned so much by browsing articles, but Wikipedia proves that there is hope for humans around the world working together in peace.

Personal boilerplates
The following are my personal boilerplates. Feel free to use them as you please, but remember to change some of the links (for example, it's a good idea to link to your talk page rather than mine ;))
- Greetings. I've noticed some vandalism coming from your IP address. Any further vandalism will be reverted. Please cease to continue your atrocious behavior, or your IP address will be recorded on the Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress page. Website defacement is a crime in numerous countries, and you can rest assured that if you do not stop vandalizing pages after being warned, you will likely be blocked. Trying to evade this IP block to continue vandalising is useless, since somebody will report you to your ISP.
We've all worked hard to make Wikipedia what it is today. A study by IBM showed that the majority of vandalism on wikipedia is repaired within the next 5 minutes, so your actions are feckless, and only serve to put you at risk. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a note on my talk page.
If you decide to change your behavior, your contributions will be greatly appreciated- regardless of what your previous behavior was.
- The page that you created (previously located at Wikipedia) has been deleted. If you were trying to perform a test, it worked. However, for the future, it would be appreciated if you would perform all tests at Wikipedia:Sandbox. Please do not continue to create test pages outside of the sandbox, or it may be percieved as vandalism. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a note on my talk page.
- Hi. Your test worked, and has been reverted. Please note that wikipedia has a sandbox which was made for these types of tests. It would be appreciated if you perform all tests there in the future. If you have any further questions, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page.
- Please note that the article you wrote on Plagarism was copied from http://www.plagarism.com. Appropriate action has been taken for this article; However, to prevent this mistake from happening in the future, I would advise you to read Wikipedia:Copyrights. As a general rule of thumb, you should never copy and paste information from other websites. Most are protected by some kind of copyright or license. If the page explicitly says that its contents are released into the GNU Free Documentation License, then you may use it here.
If you have explicit permission from the copyright owner of the aforementioned page, then please contact me, and I will be able to revert the article back.
Your contributions are greatly appreciated at wikipedia, but please make sure that you are not violating copyright laws, as this can create problems for wikipedia. You are free to use external websites as references and to link to them, but please only use links, and never copy chunks of text. You should also put references and external links under the appropriate headers: "==References==" and "==External links==" respectively. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.
- Wikipedia is not a mere collection of external links (#12). We really appreciate your contributions as well as your efforts- but please try to add at least a little bit of information on a topic, as well as a link. This ensures that we retain our encyclopedic nature as well as providing an external reference. Even if you write a short stub, it's fine!
- Please do not blank large portions of text in Wikipedia articles- it can sometimes be considered vandalism, and can get you blocked from editing if you are doing it for malicious reasons. If you had a valid reason for your actions, then please state your reasons in the summary box when you are submitting your edit. If you have any questions on Wikipedia, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.
