Wiki and me
My main interests and/or areas of expertise with respect to Wikipedia include number theory, public-key cryptography, and poker, so I tend to edit pages on these subjects a bit more than others. To see articles I've worked on heavily go here.
I am an administrator. If you need to find me quickly (or not), I'm always in the IRC channel #wikipedia with the name Derk or CryptoDerk.
I had a conversation with Al Fasoldt, a "journalist" critic of Wikipedia. You can read about it here.
Why I Wiki
- Because I believe in free knowledge
- Because I want to help others
- Because I love learning and education
- Because I enjoy being in contact with those who have similar ideals as myself
