I edit controversial articles. They are usually more controversial after I start editing them.

There is currently a gang of fundamentalists (of a variety of kinds, ranging from Karaite Judaism to Evangelical Christians) following my edits around. I would advise you not to choose a similar username to mine. At least 4 have tried to ban me. At least 3 are revert warriers. I am in mediation against 1. And 3 have tried to claim my edits are vandalism on vandalism in progress, without actually looking to see what the edits were.
